The solution has features to support clinical consultation workflows and customization of workflows for doctors as per their teleconsultation needs. The solution also supports performance of doctor in terms of time-efficiency by providing a user interface which requires minimum clicks and has easily navigable screens. The application is easy to use for patients. Doctors can interact with patients in only synchronous; The solution provides multimode interaction i.e Audio, Video, Text/SMS, Chat, Link sharing; Doctors could interact with patients using audio/video call while simultaneously taking notes i.e. noting clinical condition, writing prescription and/or entering data concurrently in the interfaced. Doctor’s side application provides features of sharing their screen with patients during consultations. Doctors could write prescriptions in formats like using basic template as part of the platform, Scan / image upload of prescription, Speciality specific template for prescription writing. Doctors providing specialty specific consultation can customize the application dashboard and layout as per their requirements and prescription. Platform supports writing prescriptions with basic requirements mandated by TPG guidelines that have E-signature. Prescription generated by platform includes details like Registered medical Practitioner’s name, Registered medical Practitioner’s Qualification, Examination / lab finding summary, Instructions (Plan of care and investigations required), Drugs / medicine ordered (start date, frequency, strength, end date), Drugs / medicine ordered (generic name), Doctor’s signature stamp.
Platform does not support the standards at relevant places as mandated by EHR Standards for India. No health data exchange standards are supported. Provider (Hospital, Clinic) can decide the standards to be used within the solution, end-to-end encryption, client-side responsible for storage security if they don’t want to upload records on cloud data-storage service.
Patient side of the interface provides login for booking appointments, keywords-based doctor search facility Speciality, guided searching of doctors. Multilingual options available and 6 to 7 languages available. Patients can upload their medical details at the time of registration. Prescription is shared with the patient and uploaded in the patient dashboard. Patients have the facility to upload documents and enter vitals which doctors can access. Application supports multi party calling making it suitable for multiple doctors in the call simultaneously (for multidisciplinary care and discussions). For group consultations the link is shared from the admin side. So, the admin can add attenders or other consultants.
Application also facilitates sharing case records (referral) by providers. Platform facilitates multiple caregivers. It also allows them to take appointments on behalf of family members / loved ones. Platform also respects family members / loved ones/autonomy as it gives them control over managing their records.
In order to provide good consulting experience to patients, the doctor’s side of the interface has facilities to manage appointments, calendar scheduling. Platform has an admin role to support in managing consultation schedules, and provides a facility to initiate refunds to patients in case of appointment cancellation. In terms of compliance, the application provides mechanisms associated to validate registration details of doctors either with the help of support team Confirmation by doctor (Doctor providing details ID/credentials), Mobile number, Email ID. Platform also has a consent taking mechanism and providers can customize consent forms.
