The Tele-consultation product of company Neev Labs IT Solutions Pvt Ltd is called Connect2MyDoctor and it has been available since 2015. Their business model is B2B and has white labelled products. They provide both mobile and web-based applications for the doctors. They also provide mobile applications for patient and/or web-based patient portals.

The solution has an easy to use interface for doctors and has features to support clinical consultation workflows for doctors during teleconsultation. Doctor’s mobile number is hidden. Patient UHID is verified with the hospital’s EMR. Doctors could share files during consultation, and get additional files from patients. Pre-filled history from the patient’s profile is available to the doctor. Doctors can create Body charts, using, Annotated interface with body outline available. Doctors can interact with patients in both synchronous & asynchronous manner; The solution provides multimode interaction i.e. Video, Audio & SMS. Doctors could interact with patients using audio/video call while simultaneously taking notes i.e. noting clinical conditions. Doctors could write prescriptions, enter data concurrently and the solution also supports doctor work as EHR available during video call. This solution does not provide specialty specific templates (except oncology) but supports basic clinical workflow in terms of writing subjective details and objective clinical diagnosis along with assessment and planning, including writing treatment / medication and other investigations as and when required. Doctors could customize their own medication list. (Doctors need to write generic names, no standard database integrated). Doctors have features for condition capturing through drop down options. Doctors could also create private notes and keep records (available among doctors).
Every consultation consent is given in the form of non-emergency care consulting, along with a detailed dynamic consent form. Video could be recorded on consent of both doctor and patient.
The solution does not support the data content and exchange standards as required by EHRSI-2016. It is informed that the application uses relevant security standards for data transmission and storage (AES-256 bit encryption). Additionally, the application is HIPAA and GDPR compliant and ISO 27001:2013 certified. The application follows TPG guidelines from a workflow aspect.
Patients get a cloud facility to keep records and can download on local devices also. The patient has control over the records. Patient gets notification if there is a delay in the appointment schedule, but the time delay is not mentioned. Doctor gets a notification once the patient is ready to join. The emergency contact of the patient could be added for psychiatric consultation and the patient could book appointments for the dependents. For dependent management, ID proof is mandatory.
Appointment can be fixed through web, application, and through the front office. Calls could be initiated by either the patient or the doctor. Solution has features which allow the advance appointment management. Doctors can fix follow up consultation for the patient and notification is sent to the patient. Hospitals can integrate their video consultation solution link on the website, and doctors can set availability schedules. UI support across time-zones (conversion), reminder and notification for both patient doctors. It has a feature to cancel appointment and reschedule options until 5 min and refund and reschedule features are customizable. Multi-currency payments are possible. Doctor could do multi party consultation and has control to add anyone. The person need not be a registered user.
To provide good consulting experience to patients, and doctors training sessions are done for doctors or in case of onboarding individual doctors they provide their coordinator to both doctor and patient to help in preparation and understanding user interface.
